As CEO of Issuer Services North America, Ann Bowering is responsible for the leadership, growth and day to day management of the Issuer Services business. 

Before joining Computershare in 2019, Ann was the Managing Director and CEO of NSX Limited. While there, Ann led the execution of an essential, and very significant restructure of the operations, people and culture, and strategy of the company.

Ann has over 20 years’ experience in financial markets. Her expertise in the development and operation of licenced and regulated financial markets stems from her time as a director and CFO of the derivatives exchange Financial & Energy Exchange Limited. She also held senior positions at Lucsan Capital and KPMG, where her roles covered the specialisations of Capital Markets Advisory, Risk Management, and Assurance.

With over 34 years of combined experience in capital markets and financial services, Arne Gulstene brings a mix of strategic insight, governance expertise, and operational leadership. Arne is widely respected for his deep expertise in board governance, ESG strategy, investor relations, corporate development, disclosure practices, and regulatory compliance. He has advised C-suite leaders and boards across publicly listed companies, private enterprises, and member-based not-for-profits, helping to align governance with long-term strategic goals. As Head of Canadian Issuer Services at Computershare, Arne leads a national team of professionals delivering critical shareholder services to Canada’s public and private companies. He currently serves as Vice Chair of the Governance Professionals of Canada and has taught corporate governance for startups and IPOs. He advises clients through his independent consulting practice. He is the founder and serves on the board of two Capital Pool Companies (CPCs) trading on the TSX Venture Exchange (TSXV). His credentials include the ICD.D from the Institute of Corporate Directors, the GPC.D from the Governance Professionals of Canada, and the Innovation Governance Program (iGP). He holds certifications in Board Oversight of Artificial Intelligence, Chairing Boards and HR Committee Effectiveness. Arne’s approach to leadership is grounded in intellectual curiosity, data-driven decision-making, and principled governance. Known for his collegial and thoughtful style, he excels at navigating complex oversight challenges and fostering high-functioning boardroom dynamics. He holds a master in Business from Dalhousie University and a degree in Economics from the University of Calgary. He is also a Fellow of the Institute of Canadian Bankers (FICB).

Paul joined Computershare in 2000 as Quality Manager and Customer Advocate, helping drive Computershare’s service quality, client satisfaction and retention programs. A senior member of the American Society of Quality, Paul has an extensive background in customer research and quality disciplines, including Lean and Six Sigma, as well as a degree in Operations Research. During his tenure at Computershare, he’s developed training, built voice-of-the-customer programs, coordinated major regulatory changes, managed various high performing teams, and led process improvement and executive level initiatives across multiple disciplines. More recently, Paul has held senior management positions within Issuer Services focusing on business strategy and performance as well as supporting multiple Computershare businesses in various regions around the world. In his current role as COO, Issuer Services North America, Paul works closely with the CEO and Executive Leadership team on strategy development and plays a central role in executing key initiatives.

Tara is a seasoned general manager with a wealth of experience in leading client management teams. With a strong background in banking, payments, and technology, she brings a unique blend of industry knowledge and strategic insight to drive exceptional results. Throughout her career, Tara has consistently demonstrated exemplary leadership skills, inspiring and motivating teams to achieve and exceed targets. She possesses a keen ability to identify and nurture talent, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment. Her leadership style emphasizes open communication, mentorship, and empowerment, resulting in increased team productivity and employee satisfaction. Tara has held similar roles in in large banking and financial services organizations, where she has made significant contributions to her respective organizations' growth and success. Her track record includes successfully managing large client portfolios, implementing innovative strategies, and delivering exceptional sales results. David is the General Manager, Registry Services and has been instrumental in developing solutions for the emerging issuer services client segment. David has been with Computershare for over 17 years and has spent his entire tenure in client facing roles. Prior to his time with Computershare, David worked in the securities industry as a financial advisor. David’s current role focuses on issuers in the developmental to late stages of their business growth cycle across both public and private sectors. David has a wealth of experience assisting startup companies from small cap to large cap across various industries. He has worked on over a hundred initial public offerings and has onboarded copious distinguished private companies. David is well-versed in both private and public company shareholder meetings and has participated (as Meeting and Mailing agent) in numerous high profile contentious and dissident meetings. LinkedIn

Helen is currently the Director of Corporate Actions and Georgeson Asset Reunification businesses. Helen has been with Computershare for over 30 years in progressively senior roles across the organization including Product Development, Operations, and Front Office. Prior to working at Computershare, Helen attended the University of Toronto and started her career in personal retail banking. Since coming to Computershare, Helen has worked extensively with key clients and partners with a focus on strategic planning, business development and growth, and stakeholder engagement. This included being an integral part of various demutualization corporate events.

Mark Kopelman is leading the front office growth initiatives for Computershare's North American Issuer Services business. In his prior role, he led Computershare's Private Markets business with a focus on providing essential equity, employee and governance services to private companies. Mark joined Computershare from Group Five, where he built on its heritage in providing clients insight via independent market research. Prior to joining Group Five, Mark led Broadridge's entry into the registry market where he held several senior positions. 

Mark also spent 18 years at RR Donnelley where he held leadership positions in Marketing, Strategy, Sales, Solution Development, Strategic Pricing and Operations, most recently in its Donnelley Financial business.  Mark earned his MBA from Columbia University.

Joe serves as Executive Vice President of Markets and Client Development for Computershare's Issuer Services division in North America, where he leads strategic initiatives that drive growth through new client acquisition.

With more than 20 years of experience in business development and corporate strategy, Joe specializes in helping public companies and IPO candidates enhance their transfer agent experience. Before rejoining Computershare, he spent nearly a decade at PwC, where he held senior leadership roles focused on delivering technology-enabled solutions and managed services to Fortune 1000 organizations.

Joe is an active member of NIRI and The Society of Corporate Governance. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Entrepreneurship and Business Management from Quinnipiac University’s School of Business.

Mike joined Computershare in June of 2022 and he brings more than 20 years of enterprise sales and business development expertise within the Canadian capital markets. He is currently the Vice President Law Firm Business Development, Canada. As a proud life long Calgarian supporting the community is important to Mike and his family, and through the various endeavors they regularly support Mike is honored to be on the board of directors for the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada, and the board of directors for the Luna Child and Youth Advocacy Centre in Calgary.
